Vancouver Canucks veteran right winger/center Trevor Linden is reported to have been re-signed to a 1-year contract worth an estimated $750 thousand. This deal has been agreed upon by both parties, and will likely be announced within the next week.
Pauser Note: Great signing by Nonis here. Trevor Linden is a fan favourite and showed in the 06-07 playoffs that he still has what it takes to play. This is clearly a signing that will pay dividends in the 07-08 playoffs. It could also be a pre-cursor to a trade involving one or more of the Canucks bottom 6 players as they now have 8 players for those bottom 6 spots. Stay tuned for more.
